non abs mc on a car w/ abs

Hi, I put a non-abs master cylinder on my car with abs because when my old master cyl was in the pedal sank to the floor a few times. Is swapping a non abs to abs a bad idea? I've been driving it like this for a few months. I do notice taht when braking over a bumpy surface the abs would kick in and my braking performance would decrease significantly... basically my brakes suck ass when the abs kicks in. Is this because of the swap? thanks

theres a distinct possibility. go get a rebuild kit for your old mc if you still have it and refit it and see if it makes a difference

Woulld it be the same if i unplug the abs fuse? which one is that?

i doubt it dude plus wont your car fail its anual tests if there is one in the states. As the abs light will remain on. id deffo say replace the mc with an abs one
