Ok.. sorry for making this complete halfass thread... i searched breifly for how to disconnect the fuel line.. and didnt see anything..

I dont want to mess anything up so im just wondering how i should disconnect it.

I might have other problems today as well which is why my title to this thread is generic.

Forgive my repeated questions, i just donated 7.77$ under deadpirate87@hotmail.com alright guys thanks for the help as always!

Well seeing how there are a half dozen fuel lines on a MK3 supra, I'm assuming you mean the fuel line(s) at the engine/fuel rail. The feed for the fuel rail comes from a banjo bolt near the driver side motor mount, its a hard line. You need 2 new sealing washers if you take that banjo bolt out. The return is a rubber line that just has a clamp holding it to the return hard line that is bolted to the drivers side of the engine about 10 inches below the intake manifold, right above the oil pan gasket. Take those 2 off and you will be able to remove the fuel rail, injectors and lower intake manifold.

ok i got my head off, new hg on, head back on, and everything now is in place... ready to start.. but my EGR valve, where it connects to the lower im/head.. is broken.. what would happen if i ran the car without the egr valve and without blockoff plates? (no money)

With no EGR and no block-off plates it would run lean. At least find some scrap metal grind it down drill some holes use some RTV at least. No reason for putting your hard work at risk.

Shhhh......Im hunting a "I shouldn't be posting" poster here......

Running with no EGR wouldn't cause you to go lean.

Running with out the EGR exhaust port plugged would cause the car to be laggy due to a major exhaust leak.

Running with out the EGR intake manifold port plugged would cause a boost leak and the car to run RICH.

Under boost, but at idle and vacuum conditions it would run lean from un-metered air entering the intake manifold.
