I have a recently rebuilt 7mgte with new cams. The old CPS was used on this new motor, and it is noisey as hell. I searched but this doesnt seem to be a common problem. Has anyone ever had this issue, and how serious is it? I know if the cps craps out the motor will not fire properly, but what i mean is how likely is it for the cps to crap out completley and leave me stranded?
I want to take her home but it is a long trip and im nervous. Engine purrs with a very slight miss but i think its the cps that is causing the slight miss too. Any thoughts?
