I also took a look at my noise filter, and its grounded to a point on the ignitor bracket, and is a small black resistor looking part. It has that white connector with two wires, one black with orange stripes, and one white with black stripes. I can take a picture of it for you if your would like. I cant say for sure if that would give you an ignition issue, because I have my car half tore apart, and cant fire it up at the moment.

I ordered a new one (ground wire with other side connector) from Toyota today, I'm hoping it is my problem but, now that I think about it, I don't think I would have hooked it up when it was running because I don't remember taking that piece (as well as anything else) off the body, but I hope I'm wrong.

I know the wire goes through both sources of my power problems. If someone with a running car could disconnect theirs just to see if it runs without it, I would be ever so greatful :)

Is this what you are looking for? It is located next to the fuse box.

Not getting a breaking ground to the coils, ignitor is good and getting power, cps is good and getting power, I saw that the noise filter wire went through wiring where my problem was and was hoping it might be my problem but now it looks like its the ecu...unfortuatley the aem ems is not a cheap replacement unless the settings are somehow messed up...

Have you tried starting at scratch and going over it again? just retrace steps ya know. I'm sure its something simple.
