Ahh that goes to a sensor that should be bolted on the body, I think it runs one of your gauges, if you can't find it I will go take a pic of what mien looks like.

Sweet thanks, what does this wire do anyways? I think it may be causing my ignition problems.

SO did you find where it connect to then? Was it where I placed mine?

To tell you the truth I am not sure. I wish I did, Maybe Ill find out really quick. if ti does then that's a good thing that you put it back together.

I looked at the wiring diagram and it looks like it should plug into an ignition noise supressor.

It's function is to filter out ignition RF noise from being picked-up by your stereo (in the form of a electric sounding whine out your speakers). Probably helps with ground loop noise as well (constant humming sound).

Ahh I was still trying to figure out what it does, but I make sure it's connected all the time. Good luck!

Mine is missing, does this piece interupt the coil and ignitor? I see its all connected on the tsrm but would this prevent my car from starting or give me any problems? I wanna know before I go buy a new piece.

Well there only one way to find out start the car, you will not be hurting anything, and again it may be a resistor I thought, for a gauge, but it seems like you have it figured it out :)

A noise filter is only there to keep RF noise out of your other electronics. It should be pluged in, and if its not you will hear a whine in your stereo. But its possible it could ground other things. I would have to look it up on the wiring schematic. I'll take a look at it later.

Just glancing at it, it looks like the ignitor has a black and orange wire that is shared with the noise filter, then grounded after the noise filter thru a white and black wire to the engine block. But I would say double check that before you do anything. I dont have the time to go thru the entire wiring diagram right now.
