Yo, when my 7mgte gets hot and I turn it off and let it sit it won't start up again...
If I turn it off and start it within 10 min or so it will start fine. Just if I let it sit for a bit is when I have problems. I end up having to wait up to 4 hours! (Worse case) before it starts
Its a 88 turbo automatic. From what I read it sounds like vapour lock but on a FI engine is that right? Please help me supra gods. Ill give you candy
Just thought I'd ask first before I start getting pissed replacing partsthat don't need to

^ Except it's a very poor way to jury rig a so-called solution even if that's the OP's problem. I'm guessing his real issue is crank-no-start though. Not sure but anytime someone talks about a car "turning off or on" it's usually a sign they know squat about them.

When my turbo was dying I had to crank the piss out of it to start it

That makes no sense at all.

Ill turn the key, and hear a click from the passenger side and that's it. It always starts in the morning, and always under the conditions mentioned previously. Ill try the link if I get a chance, maybe ill swap the battery, alternator, starter, belts, hoses, religions... later. Its my beautiful daily driver I can't have her outta comission for too long. Yeah I'm kinda noobish but I'm enjoying (and hating) working on my car. Thx for your input guys

The point is, the system already has a relay. The fun part is if you know how the starter works, you'd know the real high current contacts are in the starter...and yes they wear out.
