I was doing some maintenance on the supra yesterday, and doing the SeaFoam was one of them. After I ran the SeaFoam, I let it sit for a few minutes and then restarted it as it says to do. Then later on I went for a drive, got to my destination about 10 minutes from home, sat there for about half and hour, and then tried to leave. It would turn over, but would not fire completely. I finally got it to start by holding down the skinny pedal for a few seconds, before trying to turn it over. And after a few tries it finally started.

Drove it home, rove just fine, although the water-pump light came on and went away twice while driving. I get home, shut it off, and same thing, no start. So its been sitting in the street since then.

Any help or things I need to look for? As for the maintenance i did yesterday, flushed the coolant, SeaFoam, charged a/c(that things works great now :naughty: ), and replaced the plug wire that goes from the ignitor to the distributor till i can get the rest of the gaskets to do the plugs and valve cover gasket.

how many miles on engine?

Check distributor cap on the inside, button, and check timing.
Also, check spark plug galley's. they tend to fill up with oil from leaking valve covers. and while you're doing the spark plugs, check compression to spec. has the head gasket been changed?

how did you use the sea-foam? like which vacuum line, The brake booster one?

If so, might have not connected it back well or something. mine would run like boo boo if it came unplugged. lol

The dash is dead at 171k. not sure how many more miles are on it, as the previous owner does not remember when the speedo cable stopped working, and the car has sat for some time.

Ill make sure to check the timing aspet of it when i pull the parts to do the valve cover gaskets. as well as the compression check. As far as I know, the headgasket is original.

I used the seafoam through the line on the brake booster yes. Ill recheck the connection as it is possible to not have reconnected it by accident. But would be weird as it started up just fine the few times prior to this incident, but has given me issues the last couple times Ive tried to drive it.
