yep but i have having trouble still now the timing is bouncing from 10 to 15 at idle like it has a miss
Let us know how you fix this.
I've replaced plugs, wires, coil packs, cps, igniter, fixed connectors and still have a bouncing timing mark.

Your timing is supposed to advance and retart when running at different temps and rpms.

YOU MUST JUMP THE DIAGNOSTIC PORTS (JUST LIKE YOU'RE READING A CEL) BEFORE YOU CAN CHECK THE TIMING.

well I jumped the ports and its running at 10 on the money. I put in new wires and plugs NGK plat and I rewired the O2 due to the wires broke off no more codes but it still seems low on power and vibrates like it has a miss somewhere

I have changed cps, but I have a third one coming now :x:

edit: mcpcola - I'm not going to hijack your thread. Just wanted to see what you did to fix the bouncing timing mark. My issue appears to be something different than yours. GL.

Not really. If the cam's notch marks are straight up, and the crank is right at 0 deg, you're good to go.

Thanks man I will pyshically retime it this afternoon Thanks MDC for your info and continued help on this.
