Van: Indexing your plugs will have minimal gains if any. And in the case of using more washers....likely that is doing more harm than good.

Try wiggling your CPS wires. You don't want to jerk on them like you're trying to start a weedeater; but, tug on them a bit. Also, try wiggling any other wires you can reach.

Cajunkenny, What am I trying to do by wiggling wires? Thanks for the tip... I notice a little oil in the CPS near the bottom pick-up. I plan to buy another O ring for it. Will that oil cause ignition problems? Van

A common problem with our cars is for there to be intermittent connections and/or breaks in wires. Due to heat, age, and vibrations...

Wiggling the wires may reconnect an intermittent connection. I've seen the CPS wires in particular cause this issue time and again. It's a common tail... "I drove my supra to the store for Q-Tips, Toothpicks, and Ben Gay...and now my car won't start." They go out, pop the hood, wiggle the CPS wires, and VROOM!

ON your ecu it is your 24 pin clip ( its the biggest one) on it you want to jump the black and yellow wire to the black and orange one those are your b+ and your ign.

Supra stared up, by stepping on the foot feed, while cranking. Nothing else was done to the car since my last post. Now on to getting it tuned. Thanks! Van

It starts and runs normally, with the ISC connected. :icon_roll The mechanic at Auto Electric Specialties gave it a base ignition tune. Now it's off to the Dyno for fine tuning and some numbers! Van
