no spark why?

ok so basically what we have done is we got the car started when i got here, we set the car to TDC and and the cams are aligned also, the CPS was adjusted to the groove and drilled out mark. went to start it and it ran great, a little studering and so we turned the cps to see if i could get it to smooth out a little, but we couldnt get it to calm down. idle was a tad high, id say 1.5k rpms. so we turned it off and now it wont start again, pulled a plug and checked for spark, nothing. looked at the relays and fuses and they were all good. all wires and connections are hooked up properly, what you all think?? the spark plugs that were also just bought yesterday are already carbon build up hell so any ideas would be sweet.

if plugs turned black already, u have way too much fuel. plugs fouled out, probably why it wont start. instead of messin with cps to get the idle to calm down, turn in the mixture screw ontop of throttle body

Its not a mixture screw. Its an air bypass screw. If your car is working correctly, it should be all the way in.
Check the wires at the cps. A lot of people have said they have to jiggle them a bit sometimes for this problem. Seems like the wires get loose in the harness connector? Not sure, I have an n/a, and don't have to worry about that :)

sounds like cps wires to me,

btw instead of pullin the plug's you can watch the tach, if it move's/ bounces you know you have spark, engine cranks, and no bounce time to play with cps wires.
n/a guys can have this problem too with the distributor but doesn't happen so often since that side doesn't get so hot.

yea see i have had that CPS wire problem 2, the wires get so hot that they actually break on the inside of the insulation and corrodes. but this i dont think is the problem, but ya the plugs do foul out, and then there is one code. 11 is the code. and i dont find anything anywhere for a code 11. so yea. i pulled a plug and grounded it to the engine nothing. and the screw was never touched of my knowledge.
