So some of you know im new to the community. I have some feul pressure issues as im unsure of what its set at. And the timing is slightly off. Idle is strange. I attempted driving today just down the street when i found the there is no throttle response after 3K RPM in any gear. I tried uping the FP but it just stalled, then lowering it but nothing really improved. Mods include:

Untuned SAFCII
Greddy boost control spec B
Ported heads, 3 angle valve job
Bored .02
80 mile engine
horsepowerfreaks intercooler system
fluidyne radiator
HKS SSQV
550CC injectors
Lex AFM

Now the previous owner did install a used camshaft positioner sensor but he said they checked it and it was withing normal ranges as spec shows

Might be a vacuum leak but should that really affect it that much??

You also need to get a handle on that fuel pressure, cam timing, and ignition timing before you go any further.

QFT.... not paying attention to fuel has already cost me an engine

I DO have a FP guage but its not hooked up yet, personally im not sure how. I have an aeromotive FPR

CKAnderson, how did not checking your feul cost you an engine??

*Ill check codes tom. Right now im in the middle of RE-timing, im going to do my best since i don't have a timing light. FP ill have to wait till the weekend since i don't have an FP guage, the guy who sold me the car has a buddy with one he's going to get for me. What do you think i should set it to? 35? FYI i'm in the books for a tune july 5th

Well i adjusted the timing, it made a big improvement, i ran it maybe like 15 minutes and it started acting funny, like if i press of the pedal no response but if i take it off and put it back on it will GO. Once i hit about 3500RPM i hear ALOT of air, and then power slowly gets lost. I have a Gredy Profec Bspec II boost controler but i have NO FREAKIGN idea how to use it, everytimg i press a button it beeps at me. And the previous owner left out the manual. Anyone know how to use this????? This could be a big fix as far as teh boost seems to go

Also as far as the piston melting thing, im not sure i have to worry much about that as the Temp never exceeds 180*F thanks the the fluidyne performance radiator. The rather large intercooler helps too.

Only codes showing are 52 and 43(?), one is A/C related since the previous owner took it out, and the other is something related to the started for some reason, anyone know what thats about?

Sounds like boost leak, double check that you have your couplers tightened.

OH HAHA, i was thinking it was a part of the turbo which is why i was confused

well i just found some instructions for my greddy spec II and i found the stock settings put boost at 0% vs. 100% which would be the wastegates stock pressure so im gonna mess with that late tomorrow when i'm home again

go here for tuning ur spec II

http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=60826,

and you have a leak somewhere, go here and make a inhome tester, its cheap, just READ the whole thing don't do like me and scan for the parts, if ur running a stock turbo, you need a 2.75 to 2" rubber coupler not the 3-2 as stated in that write up.
