no powersteering?

what is all required to have no powersteering on a mk3 with a 1jz? it it a matter of just plugging the holes on the steering rack? what serp belt do i use?
any help would be great

You could plug it up, but what would be better is switching to a non p.s. rack like the mustang one. There is a thread around here somewhere if you look for it.

For the belt just get a shorter one. Measure it with some tape or something and go to the auto parts store.

Just take the old belt cut to proper length with tensioner pulled almost max because when the belt wears in it will stretch out a little bit.
You want to make sure the water pump & alternator dont slip.
Take the belt in and get a new 4 rib belt to that length it takes longer to drive to autozone then to buy it.
