No power to coils.

ok so I check to see if I was geetting power to the efi system, it is. I checked for codes Doesn't show any. Is there a way to send power to the coils to see if it will start? I'm pretty sure it getting fuel and there is power to the injectors as well. there is power coming out of the relay didn't check any resistances (no multimeter). Anybody have an idea of what to try next thanks. Oh and the cps has no power going to it either. How I checked this is I unplugged it and touched the terminals with a test light hope I din't mess anything up doing that. thanks matt

Everybody stumped too lol. Maybe the ignitor?

Same wiring that powers the injectors powers the coils. CPS uses reluctors...no power required.

Ok so maybe its a break in the wires? But then I wouldn't have power to anything and blow the fuse. Which has happened to it before but the fuse is good and there is power going in and out of it. Or am I wrong on that? When I called Toyota they said it could be the fuel pump. I don't understand that but I do have a good spare pump I could put in. I think I'm making this worse than it is.

Anybody? I've checked all the conections, are there other wires that i can trace? Also it wont turn over with the key i have bypass the ignition switch by jumpping the solinoid. could it be the ecu?

ok got it. found a plug in the dash unplugged. so now it just back fires no start, i'm thinking timing now. what do you guys think?

has a code 14 now ignitor, coil, ecm. anybody

Man all I can say is get your multimeter out and start checking it all per the tsrm. Sry I'm not much help but that's a start man.

Well turns out the cps was not timed right, took it out and all is well, Except its knocking lol.

ehh what can you expect from a used motor. when i heard i was dissapointed but not really a let down.

well im getting another motor n the morning. this one has recently been gone through, but just incase imgoing to check all the bearing clearences and soak them in oil before it goes in.
