Ok all, After getting everything installed and in Specs, I start the engine up and Notice that my Oil Pressure gauge isnt moving at all.

I do the following
Replace oil Sending unit
Replace Wire tip for sending unit
Replaced Instrument cluster with one in good working condition Gauge

Since Im running a Oil relocation Kit, I removed the oil filter to make sure I didnt have the Lines Crossed, Started the engine and Oil Immeditely shot oil of the oil Hole going into the filter, I put the oil filter back on.

So after all this, I started the engine up and Im still not getting any old Pressure. Since its a Freshly rebuilt engine with no more that 1 Minute Idle time, Should the Gauge Automatically start to read once the engine is started or does it take a minute.

Thanks for all those whom can help me out here, Is there a Fuse or something that I need to check for?

Instead of removing the lines on the oil filter relocation Kit, I just pulled the oil filter off. Not thinking that oil is going to come out of those lines reguardless. I switched the lines around, Started the car up and oil Pressure when right on up to about 1/2 way the Gauge

Cold Engine. Started it up, Let it run for about 30 Seconds and watched the oil Pressure and then turned it off. Pump isnt shimmed so Im assuning that the oil Pressure is fine.

Kits that I bought was for a ford Mustang. I can see if I can find the part number if you would like but I got it from Summit Racing

Hello,
help please..my oil presssure gauge is not working and it does not move..it stays above and wont go down?anyone?
Thanks
Check the wire that goes to the oil sender unit it just might be loose and most likely you have a good sender unit because usually those dont go bad and if it is not a loose wire or a blown fuse then I would inspect the gauge. I had to replace mine because the little plastic bar behind the oil gauge was broken.
