Mad JDM Tight YO! LOL! China copy like the other $50 bovs on ebay. Quality control on those will not be as good as the real deal but they function the same way (usualy). Some people have used those without issue while others get compressor surge or boost leaks. Save yor money and get a synapse, HKS, GREDDY, or TIAL.

I have used a greddy ebay knock off BOV and a HKS ebay knock off BOV and from my personal experience, the Greddy one leaked under boost more than 12-13psi. However my HKS knock off is still holding under 18+ psi and I couldn't be happier.

This is for the same reason ms07s mentioned, quality control. It seems to be hit and miss, you could get lucky and get one that works great or you could get a dud. If I were you I would probably pony up to and get a genuine one.

I've had 2 Ebay SSQV;s. The firsts diaphragm broke to the point were it was unrepairable. The next one was flawless, worked on my car for a long time. Then sold it to my DSM buddy and its on his car.

I'm running an Apexi dual stage on mine. Don't see it around all that much. Seems to hold boost pretty well. Not really that loud, but it's quite smooth. I've driven a MKIII with a Turbo XS RFL and the blow off after boost was quite harsh and the car seemed to jerk a bit. Don't know if that was due to the actual engine or the BOV though...

I have the Greddy Type-RS and it crapped out on me in about 2 months. So, I have the stock one hooked back up. I'm going to be ordering one from Driftmotion soon.

It was because the vented air was going into the atmospher pre ignition and not post ignition.
