I was driving the other night and did a second gear pull and when it spooled i looked down right before i shifted and i could have sworn I saw it PAST 6500,,, Im thinking how the hell could that be so i start pulling in third and sure as shit 6800 saw no limiter. I wasnt going to push it but im wondering how in the hell can the limiter just "go away" lol. any insight would be great. Thanks in advance

Hmm... Maybe I should try the washer trick on my stock ct, I was gonna send it to albert but after I had my head rebuilt the turbo is back to boosting fine. But my 91 rev limit goes to the 6000 range, maybe a little more but I'm not interested in trying to go over.

Rev limit is 6500 with 7M crank, 6750 with 6M crank. Your tach is not that accurate, especially when it is accelerating which likely explains your observation. ECU computes rpm from the CPS NE signal, which will not be affected by any piggyback.

Yea, my tach is def. wrong. i finally decided to see how high it would go. 7k shown on tach hit the limiter at a REAL 6500rpm. Thanks guys.
