They still sell the Celica in Europe dont they? At least the UK. Same with the MR-S.

I tihnk this is the last year tho. If someone stated that I missed it.

Interesting, they do still list the MR2 and Celica on Toyota UK's website. I thought it was gone everywhere. Looks like they may bring them back to the USA after all, it could happen.

(PS: It's MR2, you n00bs ;), it's only the MR-S in Japan I believe).

That's what I read a year or so ago in Motor Trend. That is that, it was to be continued but not long.
Ive never driven a Mr-2(s) but i think it wouldve been a really fun car with a 2zz. Wouldve been like a fat and detuned Elise. :naughty:

Its sad to see that Toyota has generally gone soft. haha The 80s and 90s were Toyota's up coming and going years. Hopefully this decade is only a depression.

Yup. Getting the 2zz next spring. :: rubs hands together evilly ::

Honestly, still a hellaciously fun car to drive even with the lame-ass 1zz. It's nimble enough (and, it seems, I drive well enough) to take down some MKIVs on a road course, much to the phallus-shrivelling of said MKIV drivers.

well taking down an mk4 on a road course is kinda like beating a retarded kid at an algebra contest, mk4 owners typically suck at drag racing much less anything involving corners, upshigfting and the dreaded down shifting. Not to mention if all they did was engine mods they are screwed adding power without adding suspension and other traction oriented mods will ruin the balance of any good sports car, especially of your a dumbazz mk4 owner whos more worried about looking cool than running fast.
