No don't know what you mean by garbage in and garbage out but I got her to run alittle could the coils being wired backwards cause my issue ??

Let google that for you.

This is to what the term refers. You could have a computer problem with out a processor problem. Even with the fail safes Toyota put in with the harness hookup.

In case of computer problem, the CEL would be lit off with engine stopped. The stock ECU light on the CEL when booted and ready.
