Might be your heater control valve. Warm up your car, once its warm, pop the hood and move the valve up with your hand and see if your heater comes on. If it does it will stay on until you turn off your car and it cools down. You can just bypass it till you get a working heater control valve.

^That is likely what is going on.

As far as replacing the heater core. It's a lot of work. You have to remove the entire dash. And then some... :)

Damn you guys beat me to it saying it was the heater switch in the engine bay. Mine was stuck from not being used lil rust penetrant to free it and hot air came through.

It's probably not the entire Heater Control Valve just the actuator that has the plug coming out of it. You can get one at a junk yard for around $5. They are pretty sensitive and go out pretty easily.

Soon it'll be April....the time we usually start seeing "No AC!" posts.
<----:rofl:'ed after reading it. The "no heat" threads seemed to be on over drive this season. I hope it isn't a sign of whats to come on the A/C since that system is a little more complex.

EDIT: To the OP here is a pic of what you are looking for. It is located on the right side of the fire wall. In case you didn't know
the 90 degree valve when the heater hoses connect, move the small metal rod up, and zip tie it up. Then go back inside the car and see if you have heat. If there is heat now, you found the problem.

i don't think it's the t-stat i just replaced that a few months ago, thank you anyways though. But i'll go ahead and try the heater control valve thing that most of you guys told me to do and reply back on what the outcome is.
