No Heat...what to do?

try moving the valve on the firewall manually. You may also have a malfunctioning vsv or broken vacuum line

You will know if the core is leaking because your passenger side floorboard will be saturated with coolant. You can visually inspect it if you want to take the 6-8 hours to get to it. Let's check the easy stuff first.m1supra said:

check and see if your thurmostat is bad
make sure your water pump is good and not half assing it, you can do this by opening the radiator cap it water is flowing its good, if its stagnat then time for a new water pump.

thanks for the replies i havent had the time yet to check it out but one thing i did was pour some coolant into it because the light to the left that looks like a dome comes on and stays on even after i added the coolant. im not sure as to why it doesnt go away. I noticed the heat comes on sometimes and then it would get cool and then sometimes it would get really warm again.
ha ha did that too when it first started getting cold out, worked like a charm. try it out and see if it works for you
Check your vaccum lines, especially the one to your blow off/bypass valve. Mine was blowing cold and I thought it was the heater core, but turns out it was the vaccum line to the bpv, which was not sealing (cheap silicone kit). Put the right one back on, and instant hot air.
