no heat only cold air

Wail i was driving this morning to school i notices that vent was blowing cold air instead of hot air :aigo: , the heat temp was all the way up to 85-degree but it was still blowing cold air :nono: ? i look everywhere in the engine bay but still couldn't find anything to cause the problem! does anybody know what happen to or cause the car to blow cold air when its suppose to blow heat ? :1zhelp:

Check the valve for the heater on the fire wall, passenger side, right above the charcoal canister. It should open when you turn the heat on, and close when its off. Yours could be stuck closed. There's a thread here about how to open and close it manually. I don't have one on mine, so I don't really recall how to do it, and can't go look.

could it be the heater resistor as welled?

Tie a piece of tie wire around the bottom part of the bell. Push it up and tie the top of the wire around the ninety degree tube that your vacuum line hooks too, and vwala......heat.

Also make sure you have a properly operating thermostat.
