Alright, I'm new to upgrading fuel systems and I didn't know that the fuel pressure needs to be relief? and EFI fuse need to be pulled from the fuse box? I just went ahead and installed new 550cc RC injectors, Aeromotive AFR, and Walbro 255 fuel pump. Now, when I go and start the car after installing all those goodies in, the car won't start..I'm getting NO FUEL PRESSURE..I know the fuel pump is working because I've already tested it hooking it up with the car battery charger with 12volts and placing the fuel pump into a bucket of fuel. My question is: How can I get my fuel pressure back??? will replacing the EFI fuse with a new one solve the problem??

Only if it's blown...

So what all did you actually do while changing everything out? Sounds like you have something disconnected that you don't yet realize is...

Yep^^^^^ Open your hatch, lift the panel for the spare tire, and look under the cap that goes to your fuel tank to make sure you plugged everything in.

I'm a bit confused. Are you trying to start the car with the EFI fuse out? If so, you're car will never start until you put that fuse back in.

With everything back in place, use a jumper wire to connect +B and FP in the diagnostic block. See if you get pressure that way.

You have to have the key in the ignition for this to work, I don't recall if it was the acc position or the on position but that diagnostic box doesnt get 12v with the key out (in my car at least)

I don't recall off the top of my head, but I believe it's the ign signal that starts the fuel pump

I know for sure the pump will not run with the key in the on position, unless the car is running or being started. (or the diag box is jumpered)

Have you tried adjusting the AFPR? I don't believe they come setup in the box. Did you get a gauge with it? Try turning on the key and jumper the fuel pump test terminals and adjust it.

...maybe you should read my post again

The pump does not run with just the key in the on position, it must be starting or running

thats weird because most cars i have messed with the fuel pump kicks on when the key is in the on position so it can prime the fuel system

I'll tell ya what's weird. Nah, never mind....

The fuel pump doesn't run until the key is in the start position. Thereafter it runs only as long as the engine is receiving CPS signals on a turbo motor or air is flowing through the AFM on an NA. While many cars do prime for a bit with the key on every one made since around the early 80s has to use employ some method of shutting the pump off if the engine stops. It's the law, designed to prevent you from becoming crispy after a collision...
