no brake lights :(

hey ya'll

just found a problem with my mums car.... have tailights, fog, park & license plate lights but no brake lights

when i push on the switch that is operating but i am getting no signal from the brake light switch wire (green w/ white stripe) @ the tail light lamp failure box
should i be getting something there? and if so what readings should i get?

does that suggest a break in the wire somewhere? (hope not it's a wiring mess up under the dash haha)

I would have suggested the bulbs first, but thought better of it, lest i get slapped

nah it was a fuse...

when our tail lights dissapeared a few weeks ago i thought it might have been a fuse... so i pulled the suspected fuse and it was fine so i put it back in....

little did i realise in the black of night was i pulled the stop fuse and put it in the wrong hole LOL

so for a few weeks we haven't had brake lights lol
