the car is a single turbo 1jz supra the gauge is reading 10psi but the car just won't go, no breaking up rev straight out to the fuel cut, no boost controller i thought it was the map sensor swapped it out with a 2jz map sensor same thing thought it was the wastegate was running a an hks style 40mm wastegate swapped it out for a 38mm turbonetics wastegate gauge still reads 10psi but it doesn't feel like 10psi i plug the idle air control valve thinking i am losing boost for there but no change what else can i do to make 10psi feel like 10psi? :1zhelp:

If you are retarded a tooth or whatever it will run fine and not want to go but start boosting hella early

Be careful with that

Have you checked all of your couplings for a boost leak? Is your turbo in good shape? I'd double check all of the ic pipes, and even the intercooler. I don't know of anyone personally, but I've heard of someone busting their intercooler and it leaking there. Just a thought. Good luck. Keep us posted.

timing is ok turns out that i had an idle speed control valve that is stuck open all the time.but now it breaks up at about 5000 to 5500 could that be because i am using a AT computer on a manual car?

This could be your plugs. What do you have them gapped to? Are your coilpacks in good shape? Is everything grounded good? I'd definately try to lower the gap in the plugs by another two thousands and see what that does for you unless you've already got them gapped to like .020.....good luck

That could be it too, but I've had mine do exactly what he's talking about while on the dyno, although it wasn't at 10psi. When the knocksensor detecks knock or however you want to word it, doesn't it just retard the timing? He said it was breaking up. Either way, maybe one of the two suggestions gets his car running better.

ok guys i checked the spark plugs that i was told were pre gap from the factory they were gap at whatever they felt like gapped them at 0.20,0.26&0.32 didn't make difference it still broke up at 5000rpm but i got a check engine light trouble code #52 i think its a knock sensor code (please correct me if i am wrong) i will check that out and get back to u .
