Ok guys, big delema!

Nitrous....on stock motor....non-turbo. I recently(10 miles) ago had a compression test and it come back PERFECT.

Its a 60 shot dry shot system. I wouldn't even think abotu using this on the street, this would be only for track/possibly highway pulls. I can get it for a great price. Should i? Would i fry my motor? I only plan on having this engine for 6-10 months anyway, but for this summer would nitrous be alright?

Thanks a lot!

Rep will be givin!

Well i would liek to knwo how badly, if i am, harming my engine by spraying.

I dont want to worry my ASS off everytime i hit the botton. (seldomly)

I think its better to go wet shot. Never looked into nos that much. Sounds like a small shot so I dont think itll harm it, maybe after continuously using it for awhile.

wet shot is prefered by the turbo guys and dry shot is prefered by the n/a guys.Personally i would upgrade fuel pumps, cause the stock unit is old and propobly tired, but a 60 shot should be ok

a 60 shot isnt too bad, i think youd be alright using that this summer/for as long as you need, really. just keep a closer eye on everything when you get in there to check the oil and such.

I wouldnt do a 60 dry unles you have some way of compensating with fuel when youre spraying. You could do a 25 shot dry, but i'd say youre takign a chance with the 60. Personally, id feel safer runing 100 wet than 60 dry.

Also, if you plan on juicing, a nice free flowing intake and exhaust is a good idea (i dont know your setup, so you may already have it) and of course moitoring a/fs either by portable wideband or at a dyno facility is ALWAYS worth the $.

Play it safe, juice is fun, but not if youre gonna break stuff.....

These guys are right, for a few more hundred get yourself a good quality wet system. Dry systems are just not worth much in my opinion.
