i recently traded for another dash harness so i can convert my 1g gauges to usdm. well i get the whole dash out and guess what it wont work cuz the plugs that go into the fuse box are different. so i guessed it was cuz it was from a 88 turbo car, so i drive 50 miles and spend all day taking another one from a 87 parts car i have and guess what its the same.....:3d_frown:
well i have come to the conclusion that the idiot who put the 1ggte in thought for some reason he had to use the whole f#$%@&G wiring harness throughout the whole front of the car. this being said im going to have to take the whole harness from the front of my parts car and swap it into my car. that will be an all day job. atleast i know the plugs will all be right when this is all said and done.
i think judging by the haynes manual the fuse boxes are different on 89+ cars my engine is from a 90 model. can some one take a pic of there drivers side kick panel fuse box that has a 89+ car please!

maybe i would just need a dash harness from an 89+ car please someone post a pic i would hate to have to change all the wiring in my car:cry:

The 90 plug is the same except for two plugs. The big plug is the same but they take two of the smaller plugs and combine them into one. I have a 90 na dash plug too. I'll take a picture for you tomorrow so you can see the difference in the plugs.

i have a 1g-gte tach in my car. where can i get a wiring diagram so that i can make it work in my car. i have a 92 equipped with a 1j engine and it would be sweet to get it to work as it goes up to 9000 redlined..

exactly from what evryone says. how many of us here have actually seen one let alone drove one? i hope to be buying a new camcorder this week and i will get a few vids of mine to show they are not that bad at all.
