I don't think being a nice guy is the problem, I think the world is just so fucked up, valueless and unethical for a good decent person to exist without turmoil, probably a reason I quit trying to have relationships with anyone, everyone will let you down enevitably.

Good luck to my fellow "nice" guys/ girls (not sure they exist)

yeah, being a nice guy sucks. getting walked all over, getting used. the fucked up thing is that girls say they want nice guys but always date assholes :dunno: i guess girls just want someone to complain about. one day, the guys that hold the doors, do all the favors, get their drunk ass away from that sketchy guy, hold their hair when the puke and have a shoulder for them to cry on will end up on top. when, i dont know. but untill that day, i will remain the same.

Yea, I do the same, once someone uses me or fucks me, they never become a friend again, if they behave they may be a non combatant but it still isnt a fun place for them to be.

Phhhhhhtttttt... there's a difference between being nice and being a doormat. I'm nice to almost everyone I know, but I don't let people walk all over me. I also don't seem to have a problem picking up chicks. Be yourself, if yourself happens to be nice then be nice, if yourself happens to be a geek...then by God be a geek and don't let yourself be used and you won't get used.

Plus did you not learn anything from that video?? If you like a chick you have to man up and let her know, treat her like she's special to you (not in a creepy way) and don't treat her like your BFF or else that's exactly what she'll be. If she doesn't feel the same way, screw it...and screw it if you get hurt...press on, there's plenty more fish in the sea if a few happen to get away

I used to be nice. But like Will said, I was tired of dealing with assholes and fuck-ups all the time. So now Im an asshole, LOL.
What they don't show you in those videos is what happens 6 months later, when they are fed up and ready to stab each other with a fork.

My thoughts exactly... You guys are giving into a stereotype. Being nice doesn't prevent you from being a strong individual who makes their own luck.

Guess what? - If you think you being a "nice guy" is preventing you from getting a girl - it is. This is your complete lack of confidence preventing you from getting what you want. If you are confident and comfortable with who you are, being "nice" is only going to make you more attractive - period.

If you really find a girl who likes guys that act like jerks - maybe ask yourself why you are attracted to her in the first place.
