To address the issue that Ric mentioned (amp draw) use a pulse width modulated controller (SPAL makes a good one, I used that with the contour fans). Controller varries the speed of one fan, the second fan is kicked on by a relay that is signaled from from an aux output on the spal controller (or when the temp hits the max temp that you specify). So really, your only spinning 1 fan 95% of the time, which doesn't make for a noticeable draw on the electrical sys.

Willis - the fans fit the mkiii rad perfect. Needed 2 bolts that fit in existing holes in the rad. Anthony (qwikstrike) is who told me about it years ago...they work great.

true ... if you go with the elbow, also buy the downpipe and install it all together !

Oops I guess I shouldve mentioned this already....this isnt my first upgrade or anything....I already have a DP, high flow cat, 3" catback, 550cc/lex upgrade, IC piping....so Ill probably get even more gains, right? Anyone think its a bad idea to go 3" elbow to the 2.5" opening in my DP? I know its not bad, but would a bored out stock elbow that has a 2.5" outlet have a smoother flow?

Are any of you guys running the "TMS" integrated elbow/downpipe?

Does the "rigid" appearing nature of it cause any durability issues compared to the HKS-style DP with flexible segment? (Comes AFTER the elbow...)

Is there a better ELBOW ONLY that you can run with an HKS-type flexible DP?

(Sorry to "jack"... thought these might be pertinent questions on the "elbow" option... which seems highly supported.)

...and I'm considering the fan options as well... but need to plan for the best setup with the KOYO radiator... which is on order.:biglaugh:

Hm, are you sure? I was thinking there where two different fans for the 7Ms, IIRC the GE has less blades on the fan than a GTE did :dunno:
Even if he were specifically talking about the clutch, he would be incorrect. There are two different part numbers listed.
