Hey everybody. I see that we don't have a ''welcome thread'' as does most forums. So I thought that i'd come into the General discussion section just to introduce myself since I am a newbie to this site. Duane Stephens told me about Supra Mania and sent me here. I am excited to become a part of this and I am glad to see a Supra forum that is dedicated to the MKIII. My name is Chet and I look forward to getting to know some of you or maybe even all of you.

This site contains a wealth of info on 7MGTE's,and don't be afraid to use the "search" portion.
Just like any other site,there are a few knuckleheads floating around,(like me)but there are so many more that know Supra's inside and out.

Welcome Chet...the Mk III is both a headache and a passion. The one thing we all (at least most of us) have in common is a love for this car. Before you begin on the forum, you may want to read this thread:

Welcome Chet. This really is a great place and you will learn so much here. Just be smart and respectable and you'll get help from everyone. I've been here for only 8 months but with knowledge here and my own love for the car, I understand it now more then most things. Just take some time to look around.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! You all seem like an amazing group of people here...as far as for seeing my Supra...haha...you don't wanna see it now. I'm not new to Supra's or forums for that matter, I am however new to this one. I'm what you might call a MKIV guru...kinda new at the MKIII though, but i've developed this fascination that has now turned into an obsession. I love all Supras, of course, but the MKIII definitely has a place with me because it is a part of the history and because of the fact that is is actually the first TRUE Supra. Well anyway to cut to the chase, what i'm trying to tell you all is that I recently purchased the MKIII and it needs some work, so it's really nothing much to see right now (even though it is in pretty good shape for what it is. Just not up to my standards.)...but I promise you that I will bring the old girl back to life and she will be back better than ever! She's in a good home now...i'll provide you all with pics and information on the buildup as they come. Thanks again to everybody! :biggrinbo
