Life has been busy so my rebuild of my MKIII took a back seat for way too long (4years!). I have finally just got her back on the road yesterday (just in time for winter....). I want to thank all of the contributors to this website as it was this very useful information in a thread on wheel offsets that allowed me to make an informative selection of my wheels and tires and I am thrilled with the results! :icon_bigg I have hopefully figured out how to properly attach pictures to this thread, the sun is almost set so the paint is not done justice. It is much more of a bright orange as compared to the photos. Hood pins should be on Monday and I'm done.....for now. I tried searching for a thread on fuel door conversions to a surfacemounted or flush chrome racing style door without success. I also searched the web for answers but only found generic aftermarket models mostly intended for trucks. Now that she is painted I would ideally hope for an easy retrofit that someone has already done and knows it works (or what doesn't!). If anyone has any ideas on where to point me it would be greatly appreciated!
