I figured I would post up. I recently picked up a 91 Supra with around 150k miles on it. It's a turbo targa, but sadly, an automatic. One of your forum members helped me get it road worthy by doing the head gasket, front and rear main seals, vacuum stuff and replaced the transmission for me. Big thanks to Matt.
It drives nice, but I need to do a couple things to it. First, the blower motor doesn't work. The heat works, but the blower never kicks in. Any leads on where to start? Second, I want to up the boost. Matt made sure the system has no leaks and is up to par. Do Supra guys shim the WG first, or put a valve in the vacuum line that goes to the wastegate?
