New tires, recommended air pressure?

Well that was interesting.

Didn't do too bad. 7.90's@98 - 100's.

I believe this car will do low 7's with a two step.. it takes a lot of revs to launch.

I've been loading the car up on the clutch with the e-brake, and cut a couple 1.8 60's... but towards the end of the day the track prep started lacking and I spun pretty bad on the last run.

As for the bias ply tires with radials up front... it definitely skated around by the end.
Still think it's okay though.. not as scary as I anticipated.

100's MPH meaning what exactly? Post your timeslip as I am curious to see this. Also, skating? I haven't seen/felt skating on the front on my set-up either or are you referring to the rear?

Yeah, I lost my digital camera sometime last week when I took pictures... but my cam corder was here.

I'll get copies of the slips when I go back next weekend. (I work in a different town during the week, then go back home on the weekends.)

Here are 3 or so passes.

Damn shame on that last one it launched so good, but just spun like nuts once I got to 2nd gear. (I believe there was an oil down before me.)

As for skating. I meant the rear would travel side to side a little bit coming up on 100mph, then once you come off the throttle it would get a little swingy.

Yeah, I'm still practicing... Next weekend I'll install the DIS4 I've been meaning to do once I got everything else squared away... which I have.

Happened with the DIS4 Plus... I wonder if this other model will work better, we'll see.
