When they listed that it will be a v6, I disliked it. Sorry, AWFUL choice for toyota to make. Sure, it might incompus new buyers, but I am sure they will not have many returning supra owners buying the new one just for that fact.

ok... it's not even a sports car... first of all it's a fwd 4 cyl., and it looks like it's all hunched up... propper term would be sports compact.. toyota currently has no supra, and the scion tc, in no way, resembles, or even comes close to being anything like any of the supra's made :icon_conf

I doubt there will be a new supra, if there is one It will either be an awesome car but costs almost as much or more than the 70k GTR coming out or it will be a POS that reflects only a shadow of its former self like the ever popular 350z or the RX8.

Oh and the NEW SUPRA THREADS are annoying for several reasons, some of which include, NO REAL FACTS, NO CREDIBLE SOURCES (IE "My friend has a dad who works for TRD USA and he says theres gonna be one"), oh and guesstimations.

i was being sarcastic if u could not tell, just u did not see the qoutation marks. the sporty car that toyota has is the SC430 but its really not that sporty. according to car and driver if they do come out with a new supra it will be based off the IS platform.

Just a thought guys, it's "possible" that Toyota is saying there are no plans, when they could be working on it as we speak. Many manufactures like to give surprizes. Just think about all those stealth pix of cars in magazines like Car & Driver over the years. So, maybe we can still keep our fingers crossed and not give up total hope.
