Last night I read an article in 'Underhood' magazine about spark plugs in NASCARs.
They use special plugs for many reasons I won't go into, but the article talked a bit about 'street' use, and turbos. It seems that copper is thought to be the best for heat dissipation. They also talked about using plugs that are colder when the engine is primarily used for racing. In other words, very hot conditions.

If you drive the car around town, normally, and as a daily driver, then the factory heat range should be used to keep the plugs clean (non-fouled).
