I just picked up a new IS 250. It's pretty sick for being a V6 and only 200hp. I ordered a HKS exhaust and drop in filter for it so far. I'm planning on Tinting the windows like 5-15%, getting the tail lights and rear reflectors smoked, and getting different rims (18's or 19's with a fat lip). I'd like to put springs on it, but the ole lady doesn't want it to be lowered.

I'm not digging the engine bay that much. It looks too crowded. I'm also planning on having the V6 cover painted, but to what I don't know-maybe I'll just have it painted to match and perhaps some flames or something stupid like that-any ideas?

I'd venture a guess that Toyota putting the plastic over the engine bay keeps prying eyes out and makes them take it to the dealership instead. :icon_neut

Take the plastic off and it's probably not any worse than your Supras.

I thought the same w/ my STI, but everything has been really easy so far.

Hell, I dont even have to take off all my intake pipes, engine cover, or coil packs just so I can see where the plugs are.

too bad ya don't have the IS300 gottal ove 2JZGE so easy to NA-T that lil beast, ahhh well V6 is ok like a camry that costs more I guess.

i had a friend that picked up that exact car but in a 6 speed manual, i got it drive it and i wanted to cry. the clutch was so smooth and sexual compared to my beat up 18 year old one. but yeah, it's not as quick as i would've liked it to be; that's ok, gives me a chance to pwn him if we ever run

I'll grab some interior shots when I get home tomorrow. The interior is sick. Got the Navi, heated and a/c'd seats. I wish I could've sprung for the 350, but what the hey, the ole lady will mostly be driving it.

Here's some more pics. I got the car tinted this weekend, and put the HKS exhaust on. It's not loud at all, which is nice. It has a nice rumble under 3K, and after that, it can hardly be heard in the car at all. I really dig it.
