Awesome, glad to see you made the dp you had talked about. You have a DDP handy? any chance of comparison between the two on the dyno? I'd be willing to swap DP's with you for dyno pulls to get comparisons and help ya market it.

unfortunately i got rid of my megamouth. :(

Nashman is claiming that the divorced dp's creep because the wastegate's exhaust does not have vacuum.

He says that the non-divorced "megamouth" downpipes lose some low end power compared to the divorced.

His solution is to weld a divider plate in a "megamouth" style downpipe in hopes of having the best of both worlds.

Nash: How will this be any better than a partially divorced dp?

Is a small amount of boost creep really going to hurt anything? The worst that happens is the low boost goes up to about 10-11psi, but who buys a $400 downpipe to boost 7psi anyway?!? Above 10psi none of the engines we've run with a ddp had any problems holding boost, and none of them ever spiked. Some people run a manual boost controller and then complain about boost creep, but that is pretty much a given with an mbc.

^ agreed. when i had my boost set to 15psi on my EBC (built into the MAFTpro), it wouldn't creep at all. rock solid boost, no problems.

when i had it set lower (about 8psi, it would creep to 10) ever since i increased the boost to past 10psi, i've had no creep issues at all.

but it's always nice to see more people innovating.
