How do you paint something flat and then protect it? I mean, do they make a "clear" coat for flat colors? I tried to flat black a apiece and when I cleared it, man, it was shiney! Looks good shiney though...
Anyway, love the flat black... To me, its menacing looking... I'd love to do it, and have gloss black wheels and accents, maybe a gloss black flame job or stripe or something... On Forza, a few of my race cars are done in flat colors with gloss accents...

I knew some bikers that did it...
they used windex to clean the paint, and it's cheap to do, so if it starts looking like crap, they respray...

There are a couple of major paint manufacturers that make flat black as a final color coat. So, you're right in style.
