New Paint Job

In the near future I will be painting my supra. However are there any sensible mods that should be completed before this is done. For instance, would getting an intercooler installed afterwards and having to take off the front end run the risk of chipping or damaging the paint. Just looking for other peoples experiences with this.

imo im not going to kit or paint my car till i get all of my big engine work done...i dont want the risk of chippin new paint or cracking a body kit you know?

if it's going to be a complete restoration kind of deal, have them pull out all the seats, pull up the carpet, remove all the hatch panels and get rid of any sign of rust and completely seal it all up to prevent future damage.

that's what i'll be doing....

i also plan to get a new front bumper, lambo doors, and shave the headlight squirters when i get my body work done.

Thanks for the input, that seemed to be my initial thoughts too. I would not be in a rush to get it painted but someone backed into my front fender and I have a huge dent. Guess I can deal until all the engine mods are done

Also sorry for the confusion with the similar avatar's. I have had Dylan for quite a while but don't post that often. If aye mate is the person I am thinking of he had an avatar of Elvis when I had Dylan. Not to say we both can't share the wealth.

no prob. hey if its juisyt your front fender... why dont you just buy matchign paint and hammer it outand do it yourself? doesnt seem like that big of a deal for me..
