DISCLAIMER:
Neither the before nor the after are what i would call anyhting near awesome paintjobs. The first one is a result of my crazy japanese drifter guy Tay, and the fact that the car was like 5 different colors.
The second is still amateur, but looks much much better.
Before:
That's engine swap number one, with said Japanese kid and LowBudgetTarga.
After:
Here we have LowBudgetTarga's MAFT Pro'd 16 pounds all the time ride behind mine.
Al's MK2, running some frankenstein engine, GTE at some point.
Good pic of the ass, with me in the corner.
Total costs for this almost done paintjob:
$65 including a fair amount of mountain Dew, and some lung damage. Stupid rain.
All thats left is to finish the work on the side stripes and redo the bottom of the mud flaps in black...
bonus points for anyone who knows what scheme we are emulating here.
Thanks for your time, hope none of you decide to get all huffy since my ass can't afford 'real' paint... oh wait, this isn't SF, I should be fine.
