new noises!

driving along the past few days, ive heard a strange noise coming from the passenger side rear wheel. the best way i can describe it is "irp, irp". only happens (that i can hear) at low speeds, and when backing up or turning. any ideas?

sounds like it might be the tire rubbing on something, look in the back and see if there is any wear on the tire.

Mine makes the same sound, when turning at low speeds....I was told it was a wheel bearing...have yet to get it fixed.

Well judging by what I think you describe as "Irp Irp"...I will check your wheel bearing(s) or you might quite possibly just have something loose.

did the brakes a while ago, but yeah. i was worried it might be a bearing. any sudden problems/failures might happen that i should be aware of?

LOL, the sound u described sounds like a tire rubbing something, but now that lots have said wheel bearing, I prolly would look into that.

Isn't the rear wheel bearing non-servicable? Is it possible for a sealed bearing to fail?

nah no rubbing, all stock all the way around.
