So I finally got my hands on a new DD, since my supra's tranny has completely died. I bought a 1988 Toyota MR2, with the 4age t-vis engine with a 5speed tranny. Its not the fastest when it comes to a straight line, but this thing handles like a dream, and nearly 40mpg (more like 32 to 35 how I drive) makes it cheap on gas also.

big wang bandit has a nice looking mr2 also... i've been thinking about one as a daily, toyota reliability, and there suppose to be pretty sporty to drive. and i work at a parts store so parts are cheap for me.

MR2s are FTW. My dad used to have an old Bug when i was really little, except it pumped exhaust fumes in through the heat, so he ended up selling it haha

they are AWESOME cars if you love the true driving experience. I picked one up after my last Supra and have not regretted it at all. Mine is currently under going an SC swap and should be finished this weekend.
Congrats!! Here is a pic of mine:

Used to have an MK2, i loved that thing, unfortunately i got into an accident which is the reason i have my supra now. I kind of wish i bought another, as my supra and the mr2 are both underpowered, but the mr2 was much more fun.
