Evening everyone
This is my first time posting in yalls forum, as well as my first time considering purchasing a car from Japan. I have not bought it yet, but I have read a considerable amount on the MK3 Supras I love the body style. I have already built a 95 Camaro, so I am fully aware of what I can accomplish with a V8(480rwhp on a 3k budget) so now. I want to give imports a chance to see what I can accomplish with them. After much decision making was done. The supra platform seemed to be the most concrete/logical/most supported so here I am.
I would love to know anything and everything about these vehicles. I am aware that they typically have a 7MGTE engine and a 1JZGTE is a common swap, but I have read many "vs" threads on these engines and the 7M has won me over.
So any information on querks about these cars yall could give me I would appreciate it. I have a good deal of mechanical/electrical knowledge including 4 ASE certs so don't spare any of the juicier details =)
