New member: 89 7mgte project in Renton, WA looking for meets!

Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and make my presence known. I've had my supra for 2 years, and have had it in the shop since November 2012. It started as just wanting to do light machine work and light mods to just get it back on the road. But after I a few hundred dollars spent on the parts and days of research I slowly began a major over-haul project that will be a racing machine.

My supra is an 1989 7mgte white package, with targa top. It has the r154 transmission, and yes, I bought the marlin crawler rebuild kit.

I had the block and head machined at 410 machine in Bonney Lake, WA ,the tuning will be done with a vipec-44 standalone at drift office in Auburn, WA. The long block, inter-cooler, radiator and all the smaller, detailed parts is being installed by Mike Cain of Cain's Car Customizing in Silverdale, WA.

Welcome Michael! There's a damn good group of people here. We just got done with a drive to Boise and back and enjoyed every minute of it (well maybe not the overheating bits). There are quite a few people down south by you (I'm on whidbey), and they seem to be a bit more active than up north here. If anything, look me up on facebook, I'm Dane McCormack. I plan on setting up a long drive through central washington later this year (September most likely).

I obviously painted it and replaced the wheels to make it look like a regular supra, shhhh!
