My 1990 turbo needs a new lsd.My stock one is more or less worn out.I would do an overhaul, but i got too many track days this season, and really dont have time to start fiddeling around with it when i have no mechanical experience with lsd's.So i thought id get a propper one.Im pretty clueless as to which is the best suited for my use,so i really need some advise on this

Ive spent a few days reading up on different types, and im thinking about the Cusco RS 2 way or the Cusco MZ.After a trip on the dynapack this thursday the car should make about 600-650rwhp,so i need something that will hold for some abuse.Im mainly gonna use it for racing and drifting

Any tips?

Cheers

ps: if in fact the Cusco would be my best bet, where should i get it?

You can use a stock rebuilt one if you wanted. Or if you want to shell out more, the available options that I'm aware of are Tomei, Cusco (RS, MZ), Kaaz, TRD, and I think Carbonetics

Yeah i know a rebuilt stock one would do.But like i said,i dont have the time myself to do it.And if i was gonna buy one from the US,id rather just get an upgrade when i have to pay the ridicolous shipping cost to Norway anyways

^^ thanks, thats a good link. from what i gather, the RS is probably better for track work if you prefer grip driving/road racing. and perhaps the MZ is more suited for drifting where you want the rear tyres to break traction together, at the snap of your finger...

My car is equipped with the TRD lsd. I don't know much about its stats since i purchased the car this way but i can tell you that it has a good locking action and creates predictable and controllable overseer when wanted :D
