New Intercooler?

Been looking at getting this intercooler:

Does it seem like a good one for a bpu 1jz? Also, should I just go with 2.5" piping or would 3" be worth it? How did you all route your piping on aftermarket setups without having to relocated battery and stuff? I have some what of a plan on pipes but I want to see what you all did.

2.5 will be more than enough for a bpu car. should be a nice ic for ya

I just took off the bottom skirt for the motor, and ran the pipes underneath, then up between the radiator and motor. Worked perfectly. No relocation of anything other then the shit that was in the way of the IC itself.

and the tow hooks work too


Edit: I went with 2.5" from the turbo to the IC, then 3" up to the throttle body if that matters to you.
