I've been on supraforums for a while, and my car's been coming along VERY slowly, but I was unnoticed there for quite a while a few people may recognze me, but I figured I'd introduce myself on these forums this time instead of a stranger just wondering into everyone's conversation...
I bought my 1988 Turbo 5 speed w/ targa a lil more than a year ago (fathers day, 2004) and have been planning its life ever since. Some dumb kid had it and he thought it had a BHG (it doesn't :biglaugh: ) so I got it for $700
so far I've got black cam covers,
retorqued the stock headbolts,
corrected cam/crank timing
new timing belt
changed the oil and filter (prolly the first in the cars life),
new air filter,
new ISC valve,
NGK plugs with NGK wires,
Suprasport #3 cover (spark plug valley),
removed a/c system,
JBL MK3 stainless lines for the CT,
JBL MK3 solid motor mounts (need to be installed still)
I still have to fix my speedometer, check and bleed the brakes, fix my e-brake (it doesn't hold the car) and change the tranny fluid, the diff fluid, and replace the starter with a 92 at some point
then in the near future I'm doing an MAF-T conversion with blow thru, a GReddy type-S bov, intercooler hardpipes, metal accordian hose replacement with a nice K&N filter on the end, 550 or slightly larger injectors and some other crap... I have a spare CT-26 that I'm going to have innovative turbo modify and bolt that on the car... shooting for about 400whp
