Hi everyone. Bob Carroll here. I just took on a restoration job on a client's '79 Supra and will be looking for tips - particularly parts sources - over the next several months. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Bob. Not too many MK1s on here, but I'm sure someone will be able to help. Before you are done with this project you will probably buy a MK3 for yourself. Oh yeah, and we love pics so dont be shy to post them up. Enjoy your stay here.

Welcome, Bob! We are mainly a MK3 forum, but a lot of our members have had or currently do own older Supras and will more than likely be able to help you find whatever it is that you are looking for.

We have a basic rule here when concerning projects, resto's, or anything Supra related; Post pics!

::edit:: damn, Jeff you're quick!

Thanks guys. I should already have a lot of "before" pics in my profile. If not, then I'm not doing something right. I do also post tons of project pics on my website (www.midlifeclassics.com) when I have time, but that's getting more sporatic these days. I nearly bought myself a new MK3 back in the day, but wound up with something that seemed more practical (and affordable) at the time. If I had the room and the time for yet another car or project, I'd certainly consider getting one now. A friend of my owns the local Toyota dealership and his parts manager says I'm likely to be S.O.L. on most of the stuff - at least through them.

Jeff, I love the video clip!
