Wow, this has been the best welcome I've EVER gotten on a forum. Lol, well I own(ed) a few cars, and I'm not trying to toot my own horn or anything, but I love cars. My entire has a love for cars; my father owns a turbo'ed S2, a SC'ed NSX, my sister and her husband owns a TRD SC tC (her car believe it or not), and he is on his way to a IS-F. My brothers (there are a lot of them) one has a k20 CRX, and a s14 w/ a rb20 (ugh) but he's moving to a 1j! My other brother Jas has an EK hatchback w/a k20 type-r running a 75 shot, his wife has a (basically stock w/ a lip kit drop and wheels) IS300, and the oldest of my brothers has a turbo'ed prelude.
So yeah to sum it up, we have an automotive family. All my brothers are in the military, my father and I run a small mechanic shop, my sister...well she's my sister that's on her way of starting a family. So pretty happy automotive family haha
Currently I own; my black RHD FD3S, finally got her running after sitting for eight months, my daily driver SC400, my s13 convertible KA-T, and I bought my supra for cheap! 1000 bucks, then she poop'ed on me. However it's not my first time working on a MKIII though, I've had a few that had BHG's, and rod knock, so it seems to me that the 7m is more prone to BHG and rod knock.
I like a lil bit of both types of cars, we (as a whole family) have some torque cars and some highway brawlers. I really want to go 2j because there aren't any where I'm at. Most guys around here don't even know what a MKIII is lol, it's mainly keyboard drifters (240 guys that CLAIM to drift, but there a few that actually do, but for the most part), and honda's (VTEC is the shit y0 types, and the handful of fast ones). I just like cars, mainly japanese cars, I don't really hate or dislike anything, I feel that every manufacture has their own weapon (so to speak), I just hate the pigheaded people of the automotive culture. There are many Toyota people that are like that (SF comes to mind), I'm just an enthusiast trying something new, and I hope that I have a long stay here (SM) because it's rich in information, and a lot of friendliness!!
Sorry for the long post! I'm over by Austin, specifically Killeen, a small army town.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
