Hey guys, my name is bryan and im 16. I have an 89 supra turbo. its a beast when its running lol. the head gasket, i believe it was the head gasket, is blown right now, and the starter solenoid might be bad. i have few question, and ill also throw some pics up.

1-my temp gauge went all the way up and so i pulled off and the car shut off by its self. i put some coolant in it and then when i started it white smoke poured from the exhaust and it smelt like coolant. is that the head gasket right?

2- often when i try and start my car 0-7 minutes after i turn it off it wont turn back on. it just will click once. not even turn over. it has a new started though. thats the starter solenoid right?

well without further aediu heres some pics. some answers would be appreciated lol

Its in the shop right now, they wont be able to start on it till monday though. sounds like the head gasket and solenoid ??

and your problem sounds like a classic BHG. Slap on a metal one and not worry about it happening again!

thats what the shop is doing for me. its out til next friday though :-( an hks metal one and arp studs. thanks. i love the car, i need to do the stereo and get an alarm too haha

Have them remove the starter and give to you and fix it yourself using these instructions.
Cost's about 25 bux, but save you a few hundred and it'll work perfect.
