Right now my babys got 2.75" straight pipe exhaust with an apexi n1 muffler (idk why so small but i bought it with it. Is that stock size??). So anyways since i am upping my boost soon i was thinking about getting new pipping put in and was wondering what size to put in. I know alot of people run 3" but my friend keeps telling me bigger is better and that hes putting 3.5" as soon as he does his 7mgte swap.

so what size would you guys suggest?

also what is a good tip to use?

i want more power but to keep it on the softer side (possible??) cause almost everytime i go on a date or anything the girls complains about how loud my car is and i "accidentally" got one girl busted cause i got her parents up when i dropped her off (did that one on purpose a little though cause she was a bitch haha)

or maybe its im just dating the wrong kind of girls...hahahaha

With turbo cars, the larger the exhaust the better :)

Check out BIC in the vendors here, and look at his 3.5 inch system.

If your making your own, add a resonator and a hi-flow cat converter and it wont be "too" loud.

i run 13 lbs of boost(not too much but right at fuel cut if your not careful) and i have a 3" all the way back. runs fine and sounds great. i did a hi-flow cat and its just got this sexy rumble to make a presence but not loud enough to wake the neighbors(or your dates parents)

Full 3" here.

I personally wouldn't go with a 3.5" exhaust unless I had an aftermarket turbo that would mate up to a 3.5" tube that way it would be full 3.5" from the turbo back.

But that's just me ;).
